Lost in Space Hackathon

Students will be “recruited” and placed into teams and challenged to use computer science skills to solve a local community issue. Hackathon participants - we call them trainees - will work all day Saturday and will come back on Sunday, to complete their apps. They will be supported by volunteers from the Memphis tech community. The event is open to all current and former CodeCrew participants and any other interested students entering grades 5-12.

On Saturday, August 5, 2017 1:00-2:30pm, high school game developers will present their uniquely designed games at the TigerCrew Showcase: Summer 2017 held at CLOUD901 in the Benjamin Hooks Central Library. This event is open to all kids and adults interested in seeing the games our students have created over the semester.

Would it be cool to play them on Playstations and Xboxes?

CodeCrew in partnership with the University of Memphis Department of Computer Science present...


Spend 8 Saturdays learning how to make your own video games using the same game engine as Temple Run and Pokemon Go!

Cost: Free!

Application Deadline:  September 8, 2017
Students Selected:  September 12, 2017
Class Dates:  September 23 - November 18, 2017
Time:  1PM to 4:00PM
Showcase:  December 2, 2017 at 1PM
