The Code Collective
In partnership with the Collective Blueprint and the support of the NBA Foundation, CodeCrew is launching a unique wraparound program designed to provide additional support to young adults as they train to be entry-level software developers within a comprehensive nine-month course. Students work in a small classroom setting and use real-world technologies to learn the fundamentals of coding and system development, while also participating in specialized training focused on the leadership and the life skills needed for a successful career and job market competitiveness.
While in the program, participants will receive training for success, coaching, a stipend ($400/month), and transportation assistance. Placed graduates of CodeCrew Code School have average salaries of more than $50,000 per year.

Who Can Apply?

Are you 18-30 years old, as of application, and live in the greater Memphis area?

Have been out of work at any point in the past year?

Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent, OR are you a current high school senior?

Do not have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

Are not currently in a certification or college program.

Apply to the Program
1) FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Applications are open and evaluated first come, first serve until the program fills up.
2) ATTEND ONE-DAY CODE 101
You must attend a one-day workshop to be admitted into the full nine month Code School.
3) COMPLETE AN INTERVIEW
You will be interviewed following your attendance at Code 101.
4) ATTEND NINE MONTH PROGRAM
The program starts January 2023.
