Building Box & CodeCrew bring tech education to Soulsville's Chandler Park November 27th to December 12th! Students in grades 3-12 are welcome to participate in an after school program where they will learn computer science concepts to use with the latest technology.
Class times are:
- Mondays 3:45-5:00p for grades 3-5
- Tuesdays 3:45-5:00p for grades 6-12
On Saturdays, the organizations will also offer Drone Programming Competitions. Middle & high school students will spend two consecutive Saturdays learning to program drones to perform various tricks! To allow more students to experience this opportunity, there will be three separate cohorts for this opportunity so choose the cohort that meets your availability. Students can participate in both the after school programming on Tuesdays and the Drone Programming Competition.
- Class 1: November 11th & 18th 10:00a-1:00p
- Class 2: December 2nd & 9th 10:00a-1:00p

CodeCrew is leading the youth coding movement in Memphis by providing in-depth computer science training; serving as a resource for parents, educators, and other organizations looking to address the digital skills gap, and raising awareness about the importance of diversity in tech and the role of computer science education in lifting prosperity in Memphis.
